We are buying agents, also known as property finders, specialising in the search and acquisition of country houses, townhouses, sporting estates, farms, forestry and investment property across Yorkshire and the North of England for retained private clients. Property is subjective and multi-dimensional, and we give honest and considered advice on what to buy, and more importantly, what not to buy.

Identifying the property is only part of the process. A critical part of our service is the completion of a detailed pre-purchase report, the outcome of which forms the basis of our negotiations on your behalf. We can also provide you with our network of trusted professional contacts including lawyers, surveyors, planning consultants, architects, landscape and interior designers, financial advisors and SDLT experts.

Country Houses

The best country properties seldom make it to the open market or onto the estate agents' websites and property portals. With our intimate understanding of the country house market and network of contacts across Yorkshire and the North of England, we secure approximately 90% of purchases off-market.

Town Houses

We acquire some of the finest property in Harrogate, Ripon and York. Our clients benefit from our local knowledge, professional advice and experience, whether buying for lifestyle or investment.

Sporting Estates

The North of England is famed for its sporting estates, but opportunities are scarce, often complex, and require diplomacy, discretion and dispassionate professionalism to achieve successful results. We have acted for the buyers of some of the most highly sought-after and exclusive estates. We also have a track record of negotiating sporting leases.

Forestry

A specialist area with a specific skill set, we have been advising clients in this sector, from acquiring planting ground to mature forestry, since our inception in 2010.
