Toby started his professional life as an estate agent in 2000 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2003. Initially, he worked in sales and in 2015, moved to the buying side. Toby has a wealth of experience in the purchase of the finest country houses, sporting estates and grouse moors in the north of England. Toby also handles all aspects of forestry and natural capital acquisition work.

Yes. We negotiate the purchase price on your behalf. In many cases our involvement becomes self-funding by the way in which we approach negotiations and due diligence.
What percentage of acquisitions are off-market?
Since founding the business in 2010, 87% of the houses we have sourced for clients have not been marketed publicly.
We have already found a property to buy - can you still help us secure it?
Yes, we offer an “acquisition only” service where we assess the property in question, undertake our usual due diligence and negotiate the purchase on your behalf. Please contact us for more information.
Do we still need to contact estate agents ourselves?
No. We manage relationships with all relevant estate agents and maintain regular contact with them throughout your search.
